Many outdoor lighting with PIR sensors have sensors with an IP value that is far below that of the luminaire itself. This means that while the fixture is robust and long-lasting, the sensor can be fragile and will not last as long. The Integral LED Compact-Tough's PIR sensor has an IP64 rating, which means that it has good weatherproof properties (resistant to water spray from any direction and against the ingress of dust). This model also features a PIR Override feature, which allows you to set an "always on" mode for times when you want the light to stay on and not rely on the PIR sensor.
