Characteristics:

• short wave UV radiation with a peak at 253.7 (UV-C) for sterilization effect
• lamp glass TUV TL-D 55W filters out the 185 nm ozone-forming line
• internal coating limits the drop in value of useful UV-C release
• TUV TL-D 55W can be used on average 9000 hours , after which the intensity decreases

Applications:

• killing or inactivating bacteria, viruses and other primitive organisms
