Philips SON APIA Plus Xtra lamp is a diffuse ovoid (egg-shaped) high pressure sodium lamp with APIA (Active Philips Integrated Antenna) technology for extra long life and does not contain mercury. This APIA technology guarantees optimum operational reliability and a very low failure rate, with reliable ignition throughout the entire service life. This with a very good lumen/watt ratio. The outside is a hard glass outer bulb with a white coating on the inside. Characterized by its high luminous flux and long life. Only 0% failure in the first 2 years!
