PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme 58W/840 is a replacement for the MASTER TL-D super 80 or standard color series when you want a very long lifespan, this has an even longer lifespan than the Xtra).

The PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme 58W/840 has only 10% failure 66,000 hours on HF gear (40,000 hours on conventional gear)! Ideal for places that are difficult to reach. Very long life and less premature failures lead to less inconvenience and lower maintenance costs. Special fluorescent layer ensures good Color Rendering (Ra>80). HF gear promotes efficient energy consumption and longer life.

The lamp is easily recognizable by the 'x-shaped' green foot. Lifespan tables can be found under 'more info'. The Philips Master TL-D Xtreme Super 80 lamp with G13 lamp base is Dimmable/adjustable on the correct ballast. It is interchangeable with other TL lamps.

Usually the lamp starts to give less light from 10,000 to 12,000 hours. It may be wise to replace it in time due to the risk of the electronic ballast becoming defective. Due to wear and tear of the lamp, it will consume more power, which will put a strain on the VSA.
