PHILIPS TUV TL-D and TUV TL5 emit short wave UV radiation with a peak at 253.7 (UV-C) for sterilization effect. This pond lamp is often used for algae killing and killing harmful bacteria in ponds by means of UV-C.

Extremely suitable for killing bacteria, viri organisms in:

Features: The lamp glass filters out the 185 nm ozone-forming line. A protective internal coating limits the decrease in value of UV-C. The TUV TL-D lamp base contains a special starter for almost instant starting.
